I'm an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Emory University. For the 2025-2026 academic year, I am the Starr Foundation National Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
My research focuses broadly on civil conflict and authoritarian regimes. I use formal models to explore questions about foreign intervention and tactical decision making in civil conflict.
I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2020 and was previously a visitor in the political science department at the University of Rochester.
